UK to Canada Postage Rates

Canada Post has announced that the postage rates will increase again for the year 2021. The increase will be about two cents per stamp. The average household in Canada purchases 45 stamps per year. The increase will amount to less than $1 per year for the average household. The increase will also apply to the price of the "PERMANENT(tm) Stamp." The "PERMANENT(tm) Stamp is valued at the going basic Lettermail(tm) rate.



If you need to send a large package to Canada, you can use UPS or FedEx. The USPS has a weight limit of 66 pounds, so if you're mailing a heavy package, FedEx may be the fastest option. They have a slogan that says "when it absolutely, positively, has to be there overnight, use FedEx." The least expensive option is to send envelopes to Canada.


When mailing to Canada, make sure your letter is inside a standard envelope. Nonstandard envelopes require additional postage. Starting in 2022, any envelope that cannot be processed by a machine will cost an extra $0.21. You should also keep in mind that the size of your package will determine how much postage you will have to pay.




Canada Post provides a range of different services for sending letters. It is also known as Postes Canada. It operates 6,200 post offices throughout Canada and employs around 25,000 letter carriers to deliver mail. Its territory is much larger than any other country's, making it possible to mail large quantities of mail. Postage rates vary by destination and weight, but if you're mailing more than a hundred pieces within Canada, volume discounts will be offered.
